Drooping upper eyelids are not always a matter of age, but can often occur as early as in the third decade of life, producing a tired and sad appearance. \u00a0If the forehead muscles also have to be constantly used to open the eyes sufficiently, this can – apart from limiting the field of vision \u2013 \u00a0also lead to headaches and a prematurely wrinkled forehead.<\/p>\n
When correcting the droopy eyelids, a small muscle strip as well as possibly existing fatty tissue is removed in addition to the skin.<\/p>\n
The result is a more alert, fresh and younger look.<\/p>\n
The operation is performed under local anaesthetic in sterile conditions in an operating theatre on an outpatient basis. The stitches are removed after 3 days and usually \u00a0after 10 days hardly any traces of the operation are visible.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
