Chin Correction

The chin is an important feature of the face and a “receding chin” is aesthetically disturbing and does not give a nice profile.
In a reconstruction of the chin this is extended, enhanced, enlarged which corrects the negative impression of a “fleeing” chin. Through a small incision in the mouth a shaping implant is inserted and after this intervention no external scars will be visible.

If the chin is too pronounced it can disturbs the entire appearance of the face.
In the chin reduction the bony prominence is removed through a small incision in the mouth or underneath the chin, thus achieving a much improved and more attractive profile. In a strongly protruding chin, with the dental bite deformity a much greater engagement is needed, often involving dentists/orthodontists.
